Never! We must maintain our elitist, separatist attitude! We cannot allow these
non-BYU people have place in the glorious BYU-UUG. We must remain pure from the evils
of the non-honor code abiding heathens!

Seriously, my thoughts lean toward keeping the lists separate. I know that I am but a
junior member around here, but here's my 2-bits:

1. There is something special about the club being "BYU" UUG. From what I've seen
all the posters to this list all are here now, or are former students of the Y. <no
clue>I would imagine that the plug is more geographicly based, so as members move,
members find a new lug and move to that</no clue> There is a common bond of "I went
to BYU". I saw it on my mission with members (they'd ask what I did before my
mission, I say "I was going to BYU", they get all excited, we get more dinners...).

2. The list generates quite a large load as it is, do we want to make the load even
heavier? (45 messages so far since I've been on campus today.)

3. We get to meet each other at school. (well, some of the group) With my schedule I
doubt I'll ever meet many non-BYU attending plug members.

Thats my 2-bits. Take it for what it's worth. I'm not saying that I'm completely
opposed to a merging, but these are just the thoughts that come to mind on this matter.

/me prepares for the fire

Scott
