I bought a new laptop, and it arrived today. It is an HP Pavilion ze4500. The
Internet tells me that Linux will run fine on it, but I'm having a difficult
time installing. Everything works fine when the install CD boots, and I can
hit Enter to boot the CD. Once the kernel has loaded, it won't recognize
anything from the keyboard. I plugged in a PS/2 keyboard and that also will
only work until the kernel is loaded. I can't find anything in the BIOS that
would seem to relate to this problem, nor in the manual, nor on Google. I
have tried Fedora, Debian, and Gentoo. I am getting rather frustrated. Any
ideas?
