I am tying to write some PHP scripts that access certain system files (not all). What would be the best way to go about doing this? Should I make a special group and then chgrp them? Or what would be the best way of doing this. Someone mentioned that I should set PHP's runlevel to root. But two problems, 1st, I don't know how to do this, and 2nd This seems like it would open a HUGE security hole. Any suggestions would be great thanks.
