Just as a note, the U of U has a pretty good surplus area that is open
to the public on Saturdays, I think. If you get there early, you can
sometimes pick up some good monitors for a pretty decent price. But,
other used equipment dealers tend to show up on Saturdays as well, so it
is best to be there on time because they will buy all the monitors if
you are late. If you're early, usually they will let you take your pick.
We also picked up about 100 thin client Wyse boxes for $20 each. At
that time, they were going on the used market for about $300. The U of
U hospital had replaced theirs and I don't think the surplus dept new
what they were. They have hubs, servers, csu/dsus, etc. It's a real
weird collection of stuff, but deals can be found.
