This is a slightly unusual question (at least I think it is). I'm using mySQL for a php page for a byu club webpage. Because of the nature of the page, it's hosted on a BYUSA server, so I don't have a lot of say as to how I get to access mySQL. So, I have to log-in via a network, and as far as I can see, I only have command-line access... The general question now, is that, if I currently have a table, is there a way for me to alter the table structure (ie, add or delete columns) without losing the data currently in the table? I thought about it for a while, and didn't know how to do it, although I know that if I had access to a program like Webmin or something like that, I could do it easily... That's just not an option currently (unless any of you know otherwise...) Thanks a lot! Erin
