I'm finally getting everything on my laptop to work the way that I want
it to (other than getting a GUI CD-burning system to work), and have
started to notice that I don't get very long battery life. I made sure
that ACPI was working and watched what the CPU was running on and it
didn't drop one iota from the max speed (duh, I figured... I didn't do
anything to get it to do otherwise).

So... I was wondering what kind of experience anyone has with getting
CPU throttling to work? (Maybe also wireless card power throttling, but
that can wait.) I am making an assumption that should extend how long I
can keep my laptop going. (Windows Max Time: 3 hr 30 mins, Linux: 1 hr
20 mins [can't remember if that was with the wireless card or not])
