I would agree... but I can't. Unless it were practical to start up a VNC session when I log in and attach to it so that I could detach and take the session home with me. VNC is way too slow for that. Current versions of windows allow you to attach your current session to a remote one without having done anything special at login time. And you get full acceleration whenever it's local and a transparent switch to unaccelerated when it's remote. RDP is also (at least apparently) faster than VNC.
