'fraid it's not.  I did have that problem at one point though!  The 
install "how to" that suse provides for the ftp install wasn't very 
specific, imho.

I did get the suse 9.0 install to work on my NATed box, for what it's
worth.  The main problem I had was figuring out to use the IP address
instead of the name of the ftp server, and double checking the path on
the server, but it sounds like that's not the problem here...
