transparent. How about the ability to right-click on a file in konqueror or nautilus, select ``Encrypted'', and then have all encryption and decryption take place for that one file, transparently to any end user applications?

WINDOWS XP EFS!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...
(The reason I'm laughing is because I studied the insides and outsides of EFS, and believe me, you don't want to know)...
But I /do/ want to know. This is exactly the kind of behavior I would want in an encrypted filesystem in every way. What I don't want is the weaknesses the MS implementation has.
Is it just an implementation problem? Or is there some fundamental flaw in the requirements?
