[uug] No offense intended...

Since when are policy decisions regarding the UUG, and the mailing list 
made on IRC?  My previous point, and no one has answered it yet, is why 
a change like this was made _without consulting the group as a whole_.  
A chat on IRC between a few UUG members does not constitute a majority, 
and if a change like this is to be made, it should be made by majority 
vote, on the mailing list or as a poll on the website.  Please change 
it back until such a thing has taken place.  Or explain why and when we 
changed the modus operandi of the UUG.
