Maybe licenses for owning a computer is too much, but I wouldn't think
it wrong for BYU to have a policy that terminates your service if you
are propagating virii or worms, knowingly or otherwise. It is their
network after all and they already regulate it by restricting
filesharing (even legit filesharing like torrents) so why not restrict
the sharing of virii by making it against the rules. Sure it might
require a little education, but that's where the UUG comes in with Linux
and open source information. Just a thought.
