Perhaps we should reread Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" again so we can better recognize and understand satire, which is a literary device that I think your post used very well, but one that seems to be complete misunderstood around this list. Oh, and satire is not something you'll find in the Daily Universe, no matter how clever the letter-to-the-editor writer thinks he is.
