What do you think of this [1] thread? It seems to talk down on the MDP-120.
Have you personally used one or seen it in action, do you believe it has the
limitations they talk about?
Basically it seems they are saying it has little functionallity compared with average PVRs. I'm not sure they are only refering to it's current functionality in linux or not.
It seriously seems like a very cool setup though. I like the VGA passthrough to Component abilities.
