I'm trying to setup quotas on user's home directories. From
instructions that I've found on the internet, I need to add the
following to /etc/fstab

/dev/hda6 /home ext2 defaults,usrquota,grpquota 0 2

When I try to mount /home, I get:

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda6,
or too many mounted file systems
(could this be the IDE device where you in fact use
ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?)

When I installed, did I need to create /home on a separate partition for
this to work?

I'm running debian.

Thanks,
Thomas
