This is something I just found out that I got a kick out of. If you've
compiled a kernel before you've probably realized that you can clean the
source tree with 'make clean' or 'make mrproper'. 'make mrproper' does
much more than just 'make clean'; it removes everything except the
source files. So where does the term 'mrproper' come from?

It turns out that household cleaner, "Mr. Clean", is sold in Finland as
"Mr. Proper". :-)
