No, security holes are due to stupidity and ignorance, not laziness.
Programmers are *supposed* to find ways to take ``short-cuts.''
That's the whole idea - use the language to make the compiler do the
work for you.  Laziness is actually a positive attribute of a good
programmer.  Specifically, laziness, impatience, and hubris.  Go back
and brush up on your Wallism.
