so there is this rh7.3 box that runs a perl/cgi app just fine. I copy the app over to a rhe3 box and try to run it, but it gives me a bunch of perl errors. So I think to myself, what if I change the rhe3 box's perl to be the same version as that on rh7.3's. problem is, I can't exactly rpm -e perl because of all the programs that depend on the rhe3 version.
