I am by no means a LaTeX expert... I'm actually very much a newbie, but the one thing I've used it for was a project that we needed at work over the summer. the company I was working for needed a c# program to create pdf documents based on info that had been placed inside a database. Every pdf was different (they were prescriptions) and they were generating 3000+ each day. The system which they had been using previously was faulty (was messing up on a regular basis), but so far, LaTeX has worked quite well for them... So, LaTeX is useful for other things... Now if only I could figure out how to create something besides a prescription form with LaTeX..... ~Erin -- -- userfriendly.org -- -------------------- BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ The opinions expressed in this message are the responsibility of their author.
