I've been using Qwest DSL with XMission as my ISP. I'm not sure about
their hosting option details, pretty cheap and they give you shell
access. I run two Linux servers and a Windows server at my house, and
let me say, you learn a lot about Linux servers by setting them up. Just
be sure and be a little paranoid about security when you start. I've
been using Debian and it is pretty secure out of the box, which is nice.
Now all I need to do is set up back-up mail server on my second
machine, and fail-over for my web and databases. I'm too tired to think
about that right now though.
