At the membership drive (when they had tables in the TMCB) this
semester, I asked them what the ACM did. They were at a loss to tell
me.
Finally one said they were going to help people fix their computers
once this semester.
I figgured I could just as easily help people fix their computers
being in the UUG for free. *

I'm sure the ACM has *some* valid purpose, and probably is supposed to
be doing something. If the members can't tell me what they do though,
then why are they in the club, and what is it's purpose?
