A lot of my problem is that Thursday is a bad night for me. And this semester, I've added Tuesday and Wednesday to that list. I've only been able to make it to two meetings since I've seen the UUG. Unfortunately my priority is finishing this semester so that I can graduate.

I think I heard that he is selling hip waders somewhere in East Texas. Evan McNabb was seen somewhere around Roswell lately all bleary-eyed and mumbling something about a Sparc machine that blew up when he tried to dual boot LFS and Mandrake/driva/drivvle (kidding jake). Seriously though, the UUG seemed to more active in days past. Could it be the meetings? Could it be the topics? Do we need more SCO stuff to ignite (as in flame, not unite) us? I just don't know. Maybe it is getting easier for everyone to get their devices to work. I remember thread after thread of "I have wireless card/adapter/pci (X), I've tried the linux wlan junk and nothing works." Maybe those kinds of things carried us for a long time. It also could be that some folks think that their questions are stupid and don't want to post them. Some of them may need to be directed to uug-newbies but do a lot of newbies want to learn how to tweak spamassassin or make cool procmail recipes? I don't know that either. I'll shut up now and go back on my head. I can't believe Brent Thomson got me to post something. I've been lurking for like a year now...sheesh.
