This is actually the bigger problem. Ogg is secondary. Caroline's
computer isn't always on and I occasionally dual boot which gives us
effectively three computers to deal with. I don't care for iTunes
under Wine or the other options I've looked at.

Getting the music on to the server will eliminate the question of
where to play the music from and make it so we don't have to have
duplicate copies of all the music. We have nearly all the orriginals
on CD, so backup isn't much of an issue.
