I changed my settings somewhat so that when a window recieves focus, it jiggles slightly...maybe two bounces. I think it helps me keep track of which window is recieving the focus when using alt-tab. > The "expose"-like function is very nice and well-done, except for the > bouncing windows. > > The Alt-Tab feature is interesting but I hope it gets cut from the final > release. I think combining Alt-Tab with the expose feature would be better. Hit alt-tab and the windows all do the expose thing. The selected window stays solid, and the others instantly go opaque. You can manually do this (F12, then alt-tab) right now, and I think you might find it an improvement over the regular alt-tab. Part of the current alt-tab implementation is that the windows don't fade instantly. So if you've got two windows and tab quickly, all you end up with is two partially visible windows...which isn't very usefull. Changing the alt-tab fade time to 0 would improve the current method, I think. -- Michael Moore ------------------------------- www.stuporglue.org -- Donate your used computer to a student that needs it. -------------------- BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ The opinions expressed in this message are the responsibility of their author.
