In all honesty, here is what I would like to do for the club:
1. I was there in the beginning, when the UUG came out of nothingness and
became a real club again under the leadership of Art Moore. I was an officer
under him and I saw the way he lead the club. I want to bring back that
feeling by doing many of the things he did, like hold monthly club officer
meetings so we can be better organized and get people interested in what
Linux and OSS can do.
2. The site is in need of an overhaul. Michael Moore put forth a good effort
to get a new version started, but then got caught up in real life and
school. I hope to see what he did passed onto our new webmaster and see
the project
finished.
3. Qualifications: I've been the librarian 3 times now, and it's been
fun. Even the year Andrew and Erin talked me into it. I have 6 years of
management
and supervisory training to aid my leadership of the club.
And now in more of a joking fashion:
1. I'll offer up another movie night at the planetarium if you vote for me
and I win. Wrath of Khan the month was great, we can always go for another
great movie such as another Star Trek movie. Or perhaps the Star Wars
Christmas Special. ;)
2. I promise not to fire anyone that speaks out against the way we do
elections.
3. I promise not to bother you on campus with my fliers and playing the same
song over and over and over and over and over again.
