I have an nVidia card that is in legacy now, and support is terrible. I definitely understand how that goes. For the record, the next time you get a motherboard, I highly recommend going with an Intel graphics chipset. They have the best 2D support around, good enough 3D support, and no such thing as legacy drivers. That really isn't an option in your current situation, but it's good to know for the future. My Intel-based motherboard has VGA, DVI, and HDMI output. Nouveau is a cool project, and they're making rapid progress, but they're definitely a work-in-progress. If you're not in a hurry, they'll probably have everything you need in the next couple of months (if not already), but there aren't any guarantees. If you really want it to work, you have to buy a new card. It's a frustrating option because the only thing wrong with your old card is the terrible nVidia driver that everyone loves so much. :( -- Andrew McNabb http://www.mcnabbs.org/andrew/ PGP Fingerprint: 8A17 B57C 6879 1863 DE55 8012 AB4D 6098 8826 6868
