UUGers, I just wanted to throw this idea out there for any go-getter, Type-A's that may be lurking on the list.
In addition to being able to attend some great, educational presentations, your association with the UUG also affords you the opportunity to be a presenter yourself. If you have better-than-average knowledge in some particular area, why not share it with the rest of us. Presenting at a meeting is a great opportunity to refine your understanding of a topic through preparation for the presentation, and it gives you an easy-going, informal setting to practice your public speaking skills. If you might be interested in doing this, but are unsure if your topic would be interesting to the rest of us, feel free to email the list or me directly and we can work on developing a topic that would work for the club in general. --Topher -------------------- BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ The opinions expressed in this message are the responsibility of their author.
