These are the requirements I have:
- It must be sorted by apartment rather than by family
- Title for the complex
- Page break between complexes
- An apartment may continue from an even to an odd page, but not from
an odd to an even
- Apt # above each person's head
- 2 Apartments per page for apartments of 4~6
- It must be landscape
- Pages to be folder in half lengthwise for binding
- Pictures are parallel to the fold
- There must be an even number of pages
- Due to print formatting, the sections (two per page) must print in this
order
- 1st, Last
- Last -1, 2nd
- 3rd, Last -2
- Last -3, 4th
- [Nth] and [last - (Nth-1)]
Provided that I get the correct definition for 'all_text' I think I could do
some googling and make most of the changes necessary to meet the
requirements on my own, but I've never touched ruby before and would greatly
appreciate it if you provide me with code to group the people by apartment
rather than by family.
