I get to make the ward directory for my singles ward and I remembered this
thread and thought I'd give your script a try. I am pretty sure that I have
all of the prerequisites that you listed, but I can't get the program to
run. The following is the error:
jlu...@frankenstein:~$ ruby directoryMaker.rb
/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `gem_original_require':
no such file to load -- string_utf8 (LoadError)
from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `require'
from directoryMaker.rb:22
I've never used ruby before and just barely installed it on my own machine.
Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?
