It's a "normal" thumbdrive, but the older U3 removal tool I used was not built 
with 16GB drives in mind.  I actually just found a better one at sandisks website that 
works, and I have a 16GB jump drive again.

I still hate sandisk, but at least I have a full-capacity thumb drive again.
