If you want to compare Linksys routers, Wikipedia has a good table: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linksys_WRT54G_series Different versions mean ordering online is nearly impossible unless you get a model with explicit features such as the WRT54GL. I know a lot of people use this router with 3rd party firmware, but it does not have a USB port on it. I installed the Tomato firmware on mine and it works really well.
