Thanks for the responses, it looks like a vps costs more than I anticipated,
so I'll go with stashing a box in my parents laundry room and dyndns.com for
the name service.

I'll hook it up with ubuntu 10.10 server edition and let everyone know how
it goes when I'm done.

p.s.

For all those that may have thought I needed a place to stash my pirated
warez, I actually just want a cvs, universal access to my documents, a blog,
and test server for some iPhone games I'm writing.
