Finally I got UWIN loaded on my XP laptop. YEAH. I have turned off every sound setting I can find in windows. Yet I am still getting very LOUD beeps (when going past limits in vi or command line). How do I turn these off? Sounds like it is coming fromthe motherboard POST sound system.
