Duke,
Without trying to sound like a smart a.. I think you have a battery
with a bad cell. I go through this every time before buying a new
battery ... charging in the 14v range at idle and rev only to fall
down in the low 13s or 12s ... Then I change the battery and a slight
rev puts it in the 14v range everytime ... Are you running any "extra"
electrical stuff ?? Leaving a manual fan switch on all the time etc
?? When you changed the rectifier .. did you clean the connector
contacts really good ?? Some people have run dedicated grounds from
one of the rectifier mounting bolts to the battery ground, (on the
block or under the bolt on the right side of the frame in front of the
battery).
