What sort of mechanic would do such a thing? I seriously think that what ever you do,
do not take it to that mechanic ever again! And just to make sure he has not done
something else wrong, take it to someone who knows the v-max and has the appropriate
tools to make a thorough check to your bike. you might even find that he sorts out the
tappet noise problem.
