Bill,
If the sound goes away under a load it may be a bad rod bearing.  If that is
the case you do not want to ride it till it lets loose because it will get
much more expensive very fast.  I would get a mechanic's stethascope and
listen to see where the sound is comming from then give the guys at PCW a
call to get there opinion.
