The dealer won't care if you don't let them do your oil changes if you buy
OEM oil filters from them during the warranty period. This will prove to
them you have done the maintenance. I'm sure they won't believe you bought
the filters to decorate your garden.
Re: the valve adjustment check at 1,200 or so miles, the book says don't do
it for 26,000 miles or so, what's the deal here?
