To everyone that responded, thanks for the info!  I was really hoping to get
another dozen or so passes in, but the rain really ruined things.  I'll be
back out next week. 

I was launching fairly lightly, trying to keep the rear hooked up.  I knew
the strip would be much stickier than the street, but I never got time to
develop a feel for it.  At least now I've got some targets to shoot for -
I'll be working on getting down around the 1.7s range the next time, which
should put me nicely into the mid-11s.
