Kevin, you can drag it out if you want but I do not suggest it.  If it gets
too bad it could start to shed off the remaining clutch material and
contaminate your oiling system and the more they slip the higher the chances
that you will have to replace the steels too due to overheating and warping.
It is a very easy repair that should not take more than a couple of hours.
Paul S. has a video of it I think.  Replace the small clutch disk and spacer
with a full size one while you are in there and maybe a double d mod or a
new pcw heavy duty spring.
