Hey Steve,
didn't know you had the VTAC installed. I know about the goodies, and have one of
their units, but firstly since I installed the SPA revcounter/speedo where our
original speedo is I've been able to avoid overreving the bike due to its perfect
warning light system, so I found that installing the VTAC as well could be overdoing
things a bit.

Now after reading your message, I'm more inclined to install it specially when you
mention the fast gear change possibilities.( please give us more details about how it
works.

VTAC people are a terrific group and since I purchased the unit I received several
mails asking about how I was doing, how was the unit performing and advising me about
new improved chips to install for added features.

Now I must install it, but I have one question that has been bugging me from the
beginning and that is since the unit cuts the signal from the pick-up, what kind of
reaction you get on your bike when all cylinders fail to fire?, just kind a curious
since I would not like to have some nasty experience due to a safety gadget......

Please send me all the details of your installation and pics would be great, so I do
it the same way. There is not much room in the Max and I already have an alarm system
where the V-boost control unit is supposed to be, including siren, tilt sensor and
microwave module so room is rather scarce on my Max
