Hi,

I've used platinum plugs in cars since they were first introduced by Bosch,
in the 70's. They are more resistant to fouling and, as you said, resist gap
erosion. (Just resisting gap erosion, in the absence of fouling resistance
would not be enough cause for plugs to be good for 100K miles IMHO) I think
they're worth it. Just recently put the first set of NGK Platinums on the
Max, so it's too soon to tell about the max. The nature of platinum (as a
catalyst) may be responsible for some of the effect.

Tyler uses them too. What do you think, Tyler?
