Because I live in South Florida (hot year round) and maybe because I have a
higher compression motor, I only seem to get about a year out of my
batteries, even with proper maintenance and weekly riding.  I have removed my
battery box completely and have gone to a Sears Diehard Honda Goldwing
Battery.  Much bigger, stronger, has more reserve capacity and cost about
$50.00.  Just an Idea.  Paul, 85 V-Max, VMOA 1141.
