Title: Re: Battery-problems
Hi Guys,

When you live where it's hot, you've got to watch the liquid level in your battery closely. Top it off with distilled water whenever it gets low. I'll bet that your toasted batts are the result of boiling your batteries dry.

best,

Because I live in South Florida (hot year round) and maybe because I have a
higher compression motor, I only seem to get about a year out of my
batteries, even with proper maintenance and weekly riding.  I have removed my
battery box completely and have gone to a Sears Diehard Honda Goldwing
Battery.  Much bigger, stronger, has more reserve capacity and cost about
$50.00.  Just an Idea.  Paul, 85 V-Max, VMOA 1141.
