When you say "fetch v8", do you mean doing a git fetch? The ".gclient"
config file isn't in the git repo. If you do a fresh git checkout of the v8
repo, cd in, and run "gclient sync", you get:
Error: client not configured; see 'gclient config'
I think this is already pretty concrete, but please let me know if I should
provide more details.
