I run into this problem too. Basically what's happening is that people
assume that everyone who would like to build V8 already knows and
understands what gclient and depot_tools are. I know git, but never heard
of this depot_tools thing, and it's kind of hard to even understand from
the manual that I should use this instead of the git commands I am already
familiar with.
