Mine did that when a pin broke on one of the brake shoes. Hopefully that's all that's wrong with yours.

Subject: [VAC] EMERGENCY Advice Needed

I just hauled a 1968 Caravel 900 miles from GA. I went to back it into my driveway and the right wheel has locked up. Any idea what is wrong? Bad bearing, etc? It is blocking the neighbor's driveway and I need to know if there are any quick fixes. The wheel is making a grinding sound and I fear that the bearing is in pieces. How do I replace it, or fix it so I can back it up?
