Title: RE: [VAC] Toilet flange
That's what I had.  In order to remove it I took a piece of old oak flooring and cut it to fit using the tongue to fit in the 2 opposing notches in the black plastic union(?).  It took a bit of effort.  And I don't see how your going to repair the tank especially if it's gotta be plastic welded without taking it out.  My leaks wear at the thetford valve and at the vent port.  Good luck.

If not, back to drawing board.Does tank have straight inlet from top with just one  flange, mine has inlet with black hard plastic flange then metal flange under this that bolts to floor.                                    Bill                                                                                67 GT

Are you sure that your flange is threaded?  They're available as a
press-fit, glue in arrangement also.  But I don't know if Airstream
ever used those.  Anyone know for sure?

Is it possible to repair leaks in blackwater tank without removing
tank, assuming leaks are on bottom or sides. Toilet flange is not wanting to
come out,PB Blaster et al used to loosen with no results. Any stronger
trying will lead to broken flange, already has broken piece in top. Which way
does flange rotate to remove,I remember someone saying clockwise then follow
up post said counter. Doesn't make much difference at the moment.Thanks.
