Sorry, but that is not an argument for using or not using a build
system. You choose a build-tool to make your live easier as a
developer.
I think that one of the things that in the long run makes things easier
is consistency. That i means i like to use the same build system as Gtk
when making Gtk apps, because if there are some problems with Autotools
and Gtk, then the main Gtk project will probably solve them, so i dont
need to think about them. Or if i do, google will probaly find me a
ready solution.
At least i hope so ...
