Thanks Tomaž for response. But I think support is still needed for GNOME2, so it can upset some people. I'm not going to discuss here about GNOME2 vs GNOME3, but you can't say that the people who wish to stay in GNOME2 are minority... You know that this is not like GTK2 vs GTK3, this is a more difficult problem. I know that Vala is formally a language for GNOME, but saying it's exclusive is even more baseless than saying that GTK is for GNOME only. Don't get me wrong, I do understand that it is part of GNOME project, and shell do what beneficial to GNOME. I do admire GNOME project. Just think about this.
