Yes.  The empty lines were shown only once, but the Command line
was shown many times (once for each child).
I would rather that the empty line actually said something...

Any time we talk about XML, our wires seem to cross :-)
The filtering options I know of are --show-reachable and hopefully
--show-possible.
I'm not really serious about wanting to control those
separately for xml and non-xml output.
