Check out the pieces->figures->blank pieces in the virtual valhalla module to 
see how you can create nice customizable units that work like a dream with 
the deck save and load functionality...

(my problem is still trying to get the new deck load/save functionality 
accessable in the save games, hopefully without having to recreate them all!)
